A quick retreat

I needed a quick retreat just to keep my mind out of things. Hakimbo recommended to go Kuala Lumpur as it was easy to return should anything came up back home.

We managed to book a return flight from Oman Air for less than SGD 100 which was cheaper than all budget flights. With a cheaper air fare, we booked a luxurious hotel stay at Traders.

Upon arrival, we made our way to the KLCC for brunch at Ben's where I ordered my usual greens.

We managed to walk around and gotten some stuffs while waiting for our hotel check-in. Luckily, we made a call and managed an early check-in. The room was fantastic with huge bed and bathtub.

After a quick rest and wash-up, we made our way to view the much talked about SkyBar. Unless you're swimming or dining in, it wasn't much a fuss. We then made our way to Bukit Bintang where we went crazy at Times Square, Lot 10 and Pavilion.
Since our return flight is at night, we had a lot of time the following day. We slept till late and check-out. We had our lunch and wandered around KLCC again. I realized it's easier to have no cravings as what I hoped for because it's hard to get the appetite once you've satisfied that craving.

Overall, I was happy that I got to shop for things that I needed and eaten the food that I've craved for. Maybe, I could use another splurge/glutton trip to KL again.
